We slaughter our young to save them from pain.
We debilitate our poor and call it compassion.
We teach our children there is no right or wrong.
We tell them man is god and directs his own path.
We cry out for rights but fail to mete justice.
We countenance corruption and honor deceit.
We kill the aged for dignity’s sake.
We sacrifice our lives to gain wealth and trade our souls for money.
We wreck our families without regard.
We orphan our children and shatter their homes.
We serve no one and worship ourselves.
We are a wretched people.
